Was driving lyft for extra money when I picked up a passenger that suggested I read a book called the 4 Hour Work Week

Started my very first business, a dropshipping eccomerce store called Feathers a Flight where I sold Boho style clothing and accessories.

After a fews months of running this business, I decided it was not for me. However I did know for sure that I wanted to run my own business full time. I just needed to find the right kind of business for me.

Sent the rest of the year researching and deciding what type of business would be best for me.

Started my stationery business The Journal Effect, in June

Worked nights and weekends learning everything I could about running an online business

Continued to add more products, invest in more equipment and started building a brand

First full year for my stationery business

Continued to learn and grow my business while working my full time job during the day.

In November, I set a goal to give myself one year to save up a nest egg so that I could quit my day job.

Saw great progress in my business and started to believe that I could do this as my full time job

Worked nonstop all year growing my business and saving as much money as I could

In November, I left my day job to pursue my business full time

Decided it was time to start diversifying my income and share some of the knowledge I had gained over the course of the previous years

Started my YouTube channel, HeatherMichelleCo

Sold my house and moved, which set me back a few months for goals and work

Have now moved, regrouped and am ready to get back in the swing of things

The plan for the remainder of 2024 is to keep growing my business. I will also be focused on growing my YouTube channel and community in hopes that we can all level up our lives and start living our dreams.
